GreenSparks fits a specific kind of event — one where power is live, spread across multiple providers, and constantly changing. A festival concessions area might need 200 kW during show hours and just 20 kW overnight. That swing is exactly where fixed-speed diesel Generators perform worst, fouling injectors and shortening engine life at the low end of their range. Events like this — live, multi-provider, and never running at one steady load — are where visibility earns its keep.

Festivals

Built on direct experience running power at major festival sites across the US and UK. A festival site is GreenSparks' hardest case — multiple Zones, multiple equipment providers, and demand that swings from a near-empty concessions area at 6am to a fully loaded main stage by 8pm.
Sporting Events
Peak load, on a tight clock.
Sporting events bring the same distributed, multi-provider power profile, compressed into a tighter operating window. A stadium, arena or site has to be fully powered and fully reliable for the exact hours fans are in their seats — floodlights, broadcast equipment, and concessions all drawing peak load at once, with no room for a mid-event failure.
Film & TV Production
A site that moves with the production.
The site itself changes from week to week, sometimes day to day, as a production relocates. Power has to be planned and verified fresh at every new location, for a crew and schedule that can't afford downtime — exactly the kind of repeatable, evidence-based setup GreenSparks is built for.
Market Adoption
How we're building the track record.
We're building GreenSparks' track record through a small number of focused, confidential pilots, run in partnership with real Event Presenters, rather than racing to market without solid proof. Pilot participants get free access to the platform, direct influence over what we build next, hands-on support, and free consulting to make their own equipment compatible. In return, we ask for real engagement: telemetry access, operating context, and reasonable participation from the people actually running the event.
Each pilot brings together a complete, small slice of the ecosystem around a single event — one Event Presenter running GreenSparks live, one Equipment Maker validating compatibility and getting real usage data back, and the Site Managers actually using the app day to day. Each party works inside its own boundary: an Equipment Maker's telemetry is never visible to another provider on the same site. Keeping each pilot scoped to a single event keeps it manageable for everyone involved, and gives us complete, referenceable stories rather than partial coverage spread thin.
For a large Event Presenter, the case goes further: GreenSparks becomes something they can use to advocate for better measurement, greater reliance on renewables, and safer, better-run events — with real parties already in the room, from the Local Authorities and Insurers who need evidence the site is run responsibly, to the Equipment Providers and Sponsors who benefit directly from an event that runs reliably.
